Yea, I'm also looking for a new dog... just like you I want one that is potty trained, obedience trained, and preferably doesn't shed (or eat much)... oh yea if it could be free too that would be great...

Honestly having had both if A Golden is to much to handle a Bulldog vet bills is also harder to handle so you may want to study this and be happy and train the dog you have. Goldens are generally great dogs and just love companionship, running, playing, ball tossing and long walks. They can get hyper if they do not get the right amount of exercise they need. So at least think this through..
