English / British bulldogs are not a banned breed.


rather than trying to buy a dog from a breeder why don,t you contact your local rescue centre they usually have lots of pedigree dogs that would be grateful of a lovin home.
BULL DOGS ARE NOT BANNED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just had to clear that nonsence up. i'd like to ban idiots that don't know the facts of a subject!!!
There is no such breed as an English or British Bulldog. If you mean Bulldog, to buy a healthy puppy from a reputable breeder, go through the breed clubs which are listed at the bottom of this page:

English Bulldogs are just called Bulldogs now by the AKC and the Kennel Club in England.





Read up on them, they can have many problems if you buy from the wrong source. Check the national club website and try to find a local Bulldog club to learn more.





They tend to be expensive as they are almost always born via C-Section due to their massive heads and smaller rears.

they are lovely dogs i adore them i want one of my own but i waiting a bit, they are not dangerous if brought up right,any dog can be vicious if they are brought up that way.





i would check the kennel club out or go to your rescue centres it would be great to take a dog in that needs love due to been rescued.

My uncle has some but the r very expensive and they are decendents of Ugga (the Georgia mascot) and they have a rear gene and if they are bread there is a chance that you might end up with a rear blue bulldog. He is selling them for a cuple thusand dollars.
they are banned? I did not think the english bulldog was banned?!


AND NO BREED IS DANGEROUS... its the dog itself and how its trained.... if you get a pitbull and kick it arouynd of course he will be bad...


if you get a poodle and do the same thing it could be bad too...
