Google ';American bulldog breeders in Ohio';. I don't know about the cheap part though. I also think it's a bad idea to get a dog as a gift for someone. A prospective owner should always see and spend time with a dog before the animal is taken home.
I do not. Check the classified section in the local newspaper. American Bulldogs are a more expensive breed I believe.





Be careful where or who you get a puppy from. If you go to a backyard/amateur type breeder that sells for less or even a pet store you might be getting a puppy that has some genetic defects that may appear later in its adult life. It's safer and better to go to a breeder where they health check and clear their breedings dogs of any genetic defects and any illness or issues that can be passed down to their offspring. You take a risk of getting a puppy or dog with problems from the backyard/amateur type breeder who may not know or care to do the health clearances. Many of these type of breeders' main concern is profit and the well being and future of the puppies they produce are not much of a concern to them.


If you can not afford the higher cost of this breed, look into another. Make sure it is a breed you want and can manage.
